Jonathan Meadows, Partner, is our primary point of contact for all Pharmacy Defence Association members.
Jonathan is a leading healthcare regulatory defence lawyer with extensive experience on both sides of regulatory proceedings, giving him a rare strategic insight into how regulators build their cases — and how best to defend against them.
Experience in the healthcare defence field
Jonathan's career includes serving as Chief Prosecutor at the General Dental Council, before moving to defence work representing regulated healthcare professionals across the full spectrum of professions, including pharmacists, doctors, dentists, nurses, paramedics, and allied health professionals.
He has acted in some of the most complex and high-profile regulatory cases in the healthcare sector, including matters involving allegations of clinical incompetence, dishonesty, financial impropriety, and serious misconduct. Jonathan is known for his ability to rapidly unravel highly detailed and technical cases, distilling intricate legal issues into practical, effective strategies that secure the best possible results before regulatory bodies, including the GPhC.
